The new version brings significant improvements to load-dependent bevel gear design. An interface to Klingelnberg’s KIMoS bevel gear software enables deformations and stiffnesses of the entire gearbox system to be taken into account during tooth contact analysis. Bevel gear sets can be imported, load-dependent relative positions calculated for different load cases, and the results transferred back to KIMoS for Load Tooth Contact Analysis (LTCA). This allows the tooth contact pattern to be analyzed and optimized under realistic system operating conditions.

FEM modeling has also been optimized. Improved automatic meshing during STEP import and the ability to combine additional STEP files simplify the integration of complex geometries and reduce manual effort.

The integrated rolling bearing calculation now includes an additional Timken database alongside updated bearing databases from CSC, GMN, NSK, and SKF. The lubricant database has also been enhanced to support viscosity data at up to four different temperatures.

Further improvements include consideration of bearing clearance reduction caused by the lubricant film, additional configuration options for angular contact ball bearings and four-point contact bearings, and recalculation of bearing mass excluding the cage.

To further improve workflow efficiency, the software now offers new display styles, a dark mode, adjustable font sizes, and an optional background grid. Global shaft markers, additional display options for deflection curves, and new reference lines in diagrams facilitate the assessment of component positions and calculation results. In 3D graphics, coordinate systems, housings, and rolling bearings can be selectively shown or hidden.

With the latest version of SystemManager, users benefit from expanded calculation capabilities and more efficient workflows for the design and optimization of demanding gearbox systems.
