Following the acquisition of a majority stake by Volpi Capital in KGS Software GmbH, Eric Duffaut has been appointed Chairman of the Board. With this step, kgs strengthens its strategic leadership team and signals a clear commitment to its next stage of international expansion.
Eric Duffaut brings more than 30 years of international leadership experience in the enterprise software and SaaS industry. Most recently, he served as President and Global Head of Field Operations and Marketing at Finastra, the world’s largest fintech software company. In this role, he was responsible for a comprehensive go-to-market transformation and delivered significant profitable growth.
Prior to that, Eric Duffaut served as President and Member of the Management Board at Software AG, where he led global sales, consulting, and marketing operations and spearheaded a deep, customer-centric transformation. For over a decade, he held senior executive roles at SAP, most recently as Corporate Officer and President of Global Ecosystem & Channels, reporting directly to the CEO. Additional leadership milestones in his career include executive roles at Oracle, where he managed major parts of the EMEA operations.
