The SKR series is the latest safety coupling for indirect drives in the JAKOB Antriebstechnik product range. Thanks to the optimal integration of the pulley, the distance between the pulley and the drive’s bearing seat is exceptionally small. This minimizes the bearing loads acting on the coupling, further enhancing the service life of the robust sliding bearings and improving concentricity. The coupling’s highly compact mounting design also contributes to these benefits.
The safety coupling is available in two versions: the SKR-K with a conical clamping hub and the SKR-N with a keyway connection. It covers shaft diameters ranging from 8 to 95 mm and disengagement torques from 10 to 3,200 Nm. Both versions are designed for operating temperatures between -30°C and +200°C.
