  • Quality assurance as an integral part of modern automation
  • Comprehensive portfolio of test devices for industrial quality control
  • Supplied as standard with an internationally recognised calibration certificate
  • 3-year warranty with optional extension to 5 years
  • Use of standardised testing methods

CETA Testsysteme GmbH, a specialist in industrial leak testing and flow measurement, will present its product and service portfolio at all about automation Düsseldorf 2026 on October 14 and 15, 2026. The trade fair brings together manufacturers of automation components, system integrators, software providers, and users. CETA test devices are used worldwide in automated production lines to ensure product quality through reliable leak testing and flow measurement.

Comprehensive Product Portfolio for Diverse Testing Applications

The CETA portfolio of test devices includes leak testers with differential and gauge pressure sensors as well as test devices for measuring mass flow and volumetric flow rates. Relevant process data can be documented for each tested product via the digital interface, thereby meeting traceability requirements. This is an important aspect of industrial quality control, particularly for products where leak-related failures may have serious consequences. The portfolio is complemented by calibration standards (test leaks and master jets), digital pressure manometers, and suitable accessories for equipping industrial test stations. All CETA test devices are supplied with an internationally recognised calibration certificate (DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025) at no additional cost. They are also covered by a 3-year warranty that can be extended to 5 years.

Test Medium Compressed Air and Application Areas

CETA test devices “Made in Germany” use compressed air as the test medium. This enables the detection of leakage rates down to 10-3 mbar·l/s (depending on the size of the test volume). Typical applications include directly fillable products (up to 1,000 l volume), sealed products (e.g., sensors), and products with pressure compensation elements (e.g., electronic control units). For high-pressure leak testing applications (up to 500 bar), the pressure rise method is particularly suitable. Flow testers can measure gas flow rates ranging from 3 ml/min to 200 l/min. Standardised non-destructive testing methods are employed, as described in DIN EN 1779 (criteria for selecting leak testing methods) and DIN EN 13184 (pressure change methods).

CETA Testsysteme GmbH – From Testing Requirements to Turnkey Solutions

For more than 35 years, CETA Testsysteme GmbH has been developing test devices for industrial leak testing and flow measurement. The CETA test device portfolio is complemented by a comprehensive range of services. These services extend from feasibility studies and the development of customerspecific test concepts to integration into testing stations. Close collaboration with machine manufacturers, system integrators, and end users results in customised testing solutions that are optimally tailored to the respective production task. Thanks to standardised interfaces and easy integration into PLC and manufacturing execution systems, CETA test devices make an important contribution to quality assurance. Several thousand CETA test devices are in operation worldwide to ensure product quality in production lines.

CETA at all about automation Düsseldorf 2026 | Live Demonstration of a Leak Test

The fair all about automation Düsseldorf 2026 will take place on October 14–15, 2026, at Areal Böhler. The trade fair is aimed at professionals from industrial automation, robotics, digitalization, machine and plant engineering, and manufacturing industries, providing a practical overview of current technologies and solutions. A particular highlight of CETA’s exhibition presence is the live demonstration of a leak test of a directly fillable product. Visitors will gain practical insights into the complete testing sequence. This includes filling the test piece, a stabilization phase, and the measurement phase, during which pressure changes caused by a leakage are measured using highresolution pressure sensors. CETA Testsysteme warmly invites all visitors to learn more about modern methods of industrial leak testing and flow measurement and to experience the live demonstration at the exhibition stand.
