NETZSCH Again Supports Inclusive Football Camp in Waldkraiburg

Millions of people around the world were on the edge of their seats this summer during the FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico, where Spain was crowned world champion after beating Argentina in the final. However, enthusiasm for football doesn’t begin in the big stadium, but on the playing field right on one’s own doorstep. That’s exactly where the Kick & Fun football camp comes in and NETZSCH Pumps & Systems is ensuring once again this year even more children can take part.

As in previous years, the global specialist in handling complex media is covering the participation fees for ten children whose families would not be able to afford to take part out of their own pockets.

A few weeks after the World Cup, young football enthusiasts from the region had the chance to follow in the footsteps of their idols at the Kick & Fun football camp in Waldkraiburg. The camp took place in late August and early September on the grounds of VfL Waldkraiburg. It was aimed at children and young people aged between five and 15 – regardless of gender, background, physical ability or footballing skill. Alongside the sporting training, the focus was on instilling values such as team spirit, fair play and mutual respect, which is particularly important to the camp’s founders. Kick & Fun was founded by Daniel Häusler, Tobias Neudecker and Richy Neudecker. Three individuals knowing the game of football from different perspectives. Richy is a professional footballer and has played for clubs including TSV 1860 München, the Dutch first-division side VVV Venlo, 1. FC Saarbrücken and FC St. Pauli. Tobias brings many years of experience in sport as a fitness coach, whilst Daniel Häusler has coached youth teams for many years and has been an active footballer himself for over 25 years. “It’s important to us that every single child is welcome here – regardless of their background, ability or their family’s financial circumstances,” says Richy. “The fact NETZSCH has been providing us with reliable support for years is a huge benefit for us and, above all, for the children.”
