More than 25 years ago, GEDA set new standards in access to heights with the development of the transport platform. Today, the company is continuing this success story and introducing a groundbreaking innovation for transporting people and materials on construction sites.

Animal-like strength. Technologically integrated into GEDA transport platforms.

The speed of a cheetah. The capacity of an elephant. The efficiency of ants. Effective immediately, the GEDA transport platforms—GEDA 500 Z/ZP, GEDA 1200 Z/ZP, GEDA 1500 Z/ZP, GEDA 2500 Z/ZP, and GEDA 3700 Z/ZP—can be operated at significantly higher speeds when transporting passengers. At the same time, passenger capacity has been optimized.

So from now on, the motto on the construction site is: more speed, more capacity, more efficiency. A true GEDA game-changer for everyone who wants to get more done.

For construction companies, this means above all: shorter transport times, more efficient workflows, and higher productivity on the construction site.

A New Standard for Passenger Transport on Construction Sites

With the further development of its transport platforms, GEDA is opening up a new dimension in the vertical transport of people and materials. While GEDA transport platforms previously operated at 12 m/min in passenger mode, the new models now enable travel speeds ranging from 24 to 40 m/min, depending on the model.

For the GEDA 500 Z/ZP, GEDA 1200 Z/ZP, and GEDA 1500 Z/ZP models, the speed in passenger mode doubles from the previous 12 m/min to 24 m/min. The GEDA 2500 Z/ZP will even reach 40 m/min in the future, up from the previous 12 m/min. For the GEDA 3700 Z/ZP, the speed in passenger mode increases from 12 m/min to 36 m/min.

The cheetah’s speed thus symbolizes a development that makes an immediately noticeable difference on the construction site.

GEDA is currently the first and only manufacturer on the market to offer a TÜV-certified, standard solution for significantly higher travel speeds in passenger operation.

The benefits are clear: Shorter travel times reduce waiting and cycle times, improve passenger flow, and help make workflows more efficient. Especially for taller buildings and large construction projects, the time saved over the course of an entire workday can make a decisive contribution to cost effectiveness.

More capacity. More possibilities.

But speed alone doesn’t make a game-changer. Equally important is how many people can efficiently reach their destination. Here, too, GEDA is setting new standards: The maximum passenger capacity has been significantly increased for several transport platforms. For the GEDA 1200 Z/ZP, it has risen from 7 to up to 11 people, and for the GEDA 1500 Z/ZP, from 7 to up to 17 people. The GEDA 2500 Z/ZP will now be able to transport 13 people instead of the previous 7, while the GEDA 3700 Z/ZP can transport up to 30 people – depending on the platform variant—compared to the previous 7. The maximum number of people that can be transported depends on the selected platform variant. Thus, the “Elephant’s” capacity symbolizes another key advantage of the new GEDA solutions: More people can be transported in less time, and workflows on the construction site can be coordinated even more effectively. In combination with higher travel speeds, not only does the efficiency of individual trips increase – the overall transport capacity on the construction site can also be significantly improved. The result: more speed, more capacity, more efficiency.

Efficiency That Makes a Difference on the Construction Site

The demands on construction site logistics are constantly increasing. Construction timelines are getting shorter, projects are becoming more complex, and efficient processes are increasingly becoming a decisive competitive factor. The vertical transport of people and materials, in particular, plays a central role in this context. With higher travel speeds and optimized passenger capacity, GEDA addresses precisely this need. Rather than simply refining individual machine components, the company takes a holistic view of the entire construction site process and creates solutions that deliver tangible added value in day-to-day use. The efficiency of the “Ameisen” (Ants) symbolizes the perfect interplay of many individual processes: short distances, minimal wait times, and optimal use of available resources. The better people, materials, and processes work together, the more productive a construction site can be. This is exactly where GEDA’s advanced transport platforms come into play. GEDA sees itself not only as a manufacturer of aerial access solutions, but also as a long-term partner to construction companies and rental firms. Decades of experience, close collaboration with users, and a deep understanding of real-world requirements form the foundation for solutions that make construction sites safer, more efficient, and more cost-effective.

Innovation with Tradition

GEDA is considered a pioneer in the field of transport platforms and has played a key role in shaping their development over the decades. More than 25 years ago, the company set new standards for the safe transport of people and materials on construction sites and also played a key role in the development of the EN 16719 standard. Then as now, GEDA pursues a clear goal: to develop safe, high-performance, and future-oriented solutions for access at height.

With TÜV certification – achieved through a type test – and increased travel speeds and passenger capacity, the company is consistently continuing on this path. The new generation of GEDA transport platforms combines proven technology with significantly enhanced performance, thereby laying the groundwork for more efficient construction site logistics.

More speed. More capacity. More efficiency.

Three factors that are becoming increasingly important for modern construction sites—and which GEDA has technically combined into a single solution. This innovation has the potential to transform the transport of people and materials on construction sites in a sustainable way. As demands for productivity and cost-effectiveness rise, the importance of high-performance aerial access solutions is likely to continue growing in bids and in the planning of future construction projects.

GEDA already provides the right answer today.

The speed of a cheetah. The capacity of an elephant. The efficiency of ants. Animal-like strength. Technically combined in GEDA transport platforms.

The GEDA GAMECHANGER for everyone who wants to move more—and a new benchmark for the future of access to heights.
